Reading in 2020

You don't need another post reminding you how bad 2020 was. So here are a few positive things to note in my own life and beyond:

  1. My daughter was born in April
  2. I graduated with my Master's in Computer Science in August
  3. I left a terrible job and accepted an offer somewhere new
  4. I researched, experimented, and redefined my sleeping habits (see "Why We Sleep" below)
  5. I embraced my nutritional lifestyle again and went from 13.1% to 10.0% body fat in a month and a half
  6. I built a home gym and got back into strength training, focused initially on exercise form and symmetric strength, and creating a plan to become the strongest I've ever been by April
  7. I worked harder to keep in regular, genuine contact with my closest friends
  8. A new administration was voted in to take over in Washington DC this year
I didn't read as much as I would have liked, but I did read a bit. I never posted my 2019 list, so I'll include that as well. As usual, bold books are my high recommendations, and * books are my re-reads.
