And so it begins

Not really sure why I've been putting off an introduction post, but this is what I wanted to start with before I get to the actual posts. And enough blogging content is coming to mind that I feel like I can't ignore it any longer!

You've probably found your way to this page as one of my friends, either online or offline. If you don't know me, then you still may get some sort of sick entertainment out of reading about my life, but if you wanted to stalk me then all you had to do was ask. ~_^

Since this is going to be geared towards friends, I probably don't need to introduce myself, and I consider the About Me section to the right to be perfectly sufficient for the job. Besides, I'll be updating that from time to time so there's no point in restating it here. For the sake of archiving, though, I'd like to highlight some of the points that I'm at in my life: 20 years old, just finished my Junior year of college, about to go to Japan for a semester, and nearing the 5 month mark with my girlfriend Jasmin.

This blog will primarily be used for documenting events in my life, ranting about various passions, and reviewing entertainment I consume (including movies, video games, anime, manga, etc.). I've had other blogs in the past, including blogspot, Xanga, and myOtaku, but came back to this one because it seems to be the most widely known and best supported on the interwebs. One thing I've learned is that you can't set a schedule for posting, so I'm not going to make any promises. Sometimes life gets too exciting and exhausting to even find the time to sit back and think about it, and when I do post I'm going to go for a simple style that's reasonably short and excessible.

I suppose that's about it. This will get a lot more exciting when I get to Japan in September, that's for sure. :p
